The first two holes were exchanged with

birdies at the 4th and 6th to go 2 up. Eilidh won the 7th
with a par so Carys was 1 up. Another birdie at the 8th and Carys
was again 2 up. At the tricky 9th, Eilidh secured her par 3 to win
the hole and then won the 10th to square the match. Eilidh conceded
the 11th so Carys was 1 up. However Eilidh responded with a birdie
at the 12th to square the match again. The 13th, 14th
and 15th were all halved. Eilidh won the 16th, which was
playing long into the wind, with a par 3 and was 1 up. She then won the 17th
to win the match and become East of Scotland Girls’ Champion for 2016.
