Lucy Fraser, Murrayfield, beat Erin Huskie, Stirling, today at Murrayfield Golf Club in a very close match which lasted to the third extra hole. Well done to both girls who displayed excellent golf skills throughout the two days. I hope both girls will gain experience from playing in such a tough match.

Many thanks to Caroline Steedman, Junior Secretary of Midlothian for arranging the venue and for all her help over the two days. Thank you to Sheila Stuart, President of Midlothian, who refereed the final and to Midlothian Captain, Louise Fraser, who came along to encourage the girls. A huge thank you to everyone at Murrayfield Golf Club for a warm welcome to officials, competitors and their families. The course was excellent condition and stood up well to the heavy rain on Tuesday morning.
We had a most enjoyable time at Murrayfield. Many thanks to all the girls who played and to the parents who support the girls and bring them to our events. It is much appreciated and we look forward to seeing at our next competition.
